  • Puncture on a stretched tyre

    Would you repair it?

    Running 235/35/19 on a 10inch and notice a little nail in the tyre. Its holding its pressure for now, but should i replace the tyre or just get it repaired? Just thinking about if the repair will be fine since the pressure is kept at 40-42psi plus the stretch.

    let me know!

    As long as it's still in a place you would normally be able to repair it will be fine

        I've always gone by the 1" rule. If the nail is 1 inch or less from the sidewall then the tire needs to be replaced. Patch probably wont work if its too far on the curved surface but a plug might, just gets sketchy when getting close to the sidewall.
