Daily driving an E28. Good idea?

    Just got my e28 last week I love it. I lowered it the day i got it. Its a cool car,drive it every day. But i went to my e28 .com, thy where not very cool at lest to me thy went.

      both e30s and e28s, as long as they are decent runners to begin with and maintenance kept up with, can be tanks. The only real leg up e28s have is the lack of timing belt that e30s have, and need to be replaced regularly.
      e28 - 528e = timing belt. 535i (is) = timing chain.

        Cars are similar to women in this regard. Some cars are known for having certain "annoyances," whether you drive them every day or not.

          Old thread but I daily'd my $600 E28 for 2 years without any major problems. All depends on what you get. All cars are equal..some are more equal than others
