                  Hijack alert!

                  I've got some fittipaldi OZ 3-piece wheels in 8.5x17 et20 and 10x17 et19 and I'm trying to figure out how different these are from futura wheels. It seems like the fitura have a little skinnier spokes with maybe a little more rounded Windows whereas the fittipaldi have a little more triangular spokes. The center caps on the fittipaldi seem to be a little more cone shaped too. Am I getting this right?

                  The ones I've got are a MB fitment and came on a 1976 280slc where I could see the tires were rubbing. I put them on my 1992 500sl to get some filthy grease off the rubber. They seem to fit it well. 5x112 66.56 CB.

                  Anyone have input on differences between fittipaldi and futura OZ wheels?
                  Thanks!

                    Fittipaldi = cast wheel
                    Futura = forged wheel
                    Center caps are same

                      Thank you!

                      I noticed that my Fittipaldi have "TYP 09" on the insides and that the fronts have space red bolted on, while the rear faces are reverse mount and the fronts are sandwich. I have 8.5x17 et20 and 10x17 et19. I'm going to be looking to sell them ultimately, but I have a lot of polishing the bare aluminum to make them look their best.

                      I guess because the fittipaldi are cast instead of forged, they will always be worth less than futura wheels?
