I am posting this to gauge some interest. I have for sale a set of BBS RS178. 17x9.5, 5x120, et55. Great offset to do almost whatever you want adapter/spacer wise. These are currently being refinished. What's being done:
-Stripped and mirror polished lips
-Thoroughly cleaned barrels
-Stripped and polished hex bolt center
-Polished BBS center caps
-Polished OE BBS rim/lip bolts
-Centers professionally stripped and repainted
There was one tiny spot of curb rash, but after sanding and polishing, it takes me about ten minutes of looking to find. One lip has a tiny bend in it, I didn't see it until the lips were taken apart and I felt it when sanding, even looking at it, it is very hard to see. The barrels are completely straight, zero bends, zero cracks, no imperfections. This is an extremely clean set of wheels.
If you are interested in these, you can choose what color you want the center painted, and upon request, I can send pictures of the painters previous work to see that he knows what he is doing and will perform an excellent job.
I am asking $1,900 for the set. $2,000 shipped. I am always open to negotiation if you feel the price is unfair, but for the work that is going into these wheels, I feel that it is a very reasonable price. These wheels will look brand new when they are done. I am doing the work myself and am not cutting any corners or taking any shortcuts, the work is being done right the first time, you will not be disappointed with the final result.
