I realize this is a bit different then most wheels listed here but I have yet to see a Japanese car on schmidts (unless it was a civic or integra on 16s) to date. I'd love to see it done and i'd love to see these gone.
Price:
$1700 Firm
My VN-lines are up for sale but this time they need a little TLC. I picked these up again for $2500 and one of the barrels on the weld let go. The plan was to go 10.5 in front and 12 in back but instead I have scraped the wheels project to go with 20s. I had them on my 7 series for about 3 weeks before I took them off, removed the tires, and laid them in my basement. Now its time to sell.
The Bad:
- The 2 front barrels were cracked. The barrels need to be replaced. I can help you order the new barells from Schmidt in Germany for $650 shipped.
- One wheel has a scratch on the face from the tire shop hitting it with the air tool. It didn't bother me because I'm not a perfectionist but to be perfect the spot would need to be sanded down and touched up.
- One rear wheel has a tiny bend in it. All wheels balance out but it takes alot of weight in front due to the barrels. I did have them balanced perfectly and drove over 3k miles on them with no shakes. The bend is so small I couldn't even manage to take a picture of it but I like to be honest in my for sale ads.
The Good:
- For way less then half of what theses wheels cost new someone can have an amazing set of wheels. They fit e39s with a front fender pull and roll all around, e39 m5s with no body work, and e38s with zero body work. They require a 15mm to 17mm spacer to clear the front coilovers (If your on stock suspension I don't know what they require.
I really love these wheels but have an opportunity to do something very different so I'm going to have to get rid of them.
Offsets:
19x10 - ET10
19x11 - ET15
Centerbore is 74.1
