A shop would press in a steel insert.

Sounds pretty simple. How much does something like that cost? And would it be a good idea to buy all new bolts/locking nuts? Trying to get an idea of a total price

It would be safe to run with 4 lugs, but my plan was to buy another m14 ball seat insert from http://www.prestigewheel.com/ and epoxy it in. At most, the area would need to be cleaned up and possibly drilled to fit the insert. If you do a good job, it will look original.

The nuts are fine, but I'd replace the bolts. Regular steel allen-caps would cost about $20 and look fine, just hit them with a bit of paint or clear because the black oxide finish likes to rust.

I just need to figure out if they'd fit on my 86 944 or not, I'll have to try to measure and see, thanks for all the info!
