  • FS: 17" Alpina Classics (10" Rears)

This full set includes all seals/gaskets for the Lock Covers & Centre Caps and more importantly has one key that fits all locks.

As you can see in the pictures attached, one front wheel does have a couple of slight chips in the paint. I have a local bodyshop that can rectify this for approximately GBP40. If interested I can do this prior to collection.

    Generally suited to e31, e32, e34 Models.

    Wheel specification as follows:

    PCD 5x120

    Two (x2) Front Wheels - 8.5j x 17" ET13 Alpina Part No. 3611638

    Two (x2) Rear Wheels - 10j x 17" ET28 Alpina Part No. 3611639

Four (x4) Alpina Centre Caps with Alpina Locks & Lock Covers. Alpina Part No. 3613609

This sale does not include tyres, although I do have a full set (staggered) of correct sized Dunlop SP Sport Maxx which could be included for a small fee or even fitted & balanced if required.

Please also bear in mind that these wheels do not require anything other than a coat of wax. I see rough/neglected sets for similar money when they rarely come up for sale that require considerable money spending on refurbishment.

An investment IMO as prices for the stunning and rare wheels have only been going up over the last year or two...

Price: GBP850 which would include any packaging for a courier collection.

Based in the UK. Shipping to US approx. GBP 150 - 200

                      Looking

I realize I'm about 6 months late for this posting, but I'd just like to put the word out that I'm looking for a set of these Alpina wheels. I'm in the states. Usually post on the Bimmer Forum E32 board, but came across this site by accident. Thought I would join and post. Original owner of 1990 735I (E32), Try to keep it in showroom condition for the past 25 years. Been shopping for these or softline Alpina's for quite a while. These were a great price for me as I have a friend that does powder coating on this side of the pond. If anybody knows of a set of 8,5J X 17 and 10J 17 Alpinas let me know. Not a stickler for staggered wheels. Four 8.5J X 17 would do just fine. Thanks much
                      Jeff

                        Hi Jeff,

Great thread resurrection and coincidentally I was offered a square set of these a couple of weeks ago. I'll e-mail the seller and see if he still has them along with a price if interested?

Thanks. I believe the correct size for me without having to use any spacers would be the wheels that came on the Alpina B11. People on my forum say the size would be this.................

                          17x8.5 ET12
                          17x10 ET28

Almost yes. The 8.5jx17's are ET13

The square set I was offered are as follows:

                            Alpina Part No. 3611638 (8.5jx17" ET13)

I have sent an e-mail asking if they are still available and at what price. They do come with Centre Caps and Locks too which is a bonus.

                            C.

                              C,
I've been in touch with Alpina dist. in California. When I first went on my hunt I thought I would buy new. Man.....did those prices put be back in my seat. The size chart they sent me when they realized that I would be searching for used or refurb were the numbers I sent you. The part number you sent 3611638.....Alpina says is for the E34 with as you said ET13. Also the rear wheel for that set would be 9,5 instead of 10. My E32 they say requires ET12 if I don't want to use any sort of spacers. Just going by their chart. Can you believe that the Alpina caliper for the B11.....still available (new) costs $1700.00 Each. I mean I can get a completely rebuilt OEM caliper for $74.00. Try and decorate an older 735I when you retire and take it on as a hobby, and the money just disappears. I spent four or five weekends refreshing the engine bay. This is what I ended up with. If you're posting on a board like this you might be interested in the pics. This was a thread I posted on my E32 forum when I was done.
                              Regards,
                              Jeff
