Is this fitment with or without the spacers?

The fitment on the e34 touring is with the 25mm front adapters and 28mm spacers on rear.

What kind of fender work did it take to fit these?

I'm fitting up my euro e24 - would love the similar look - but static. So can't have the fender sitting on the lips.
