  • Feeler: Compomotive one off set

I am putting this up as feeler as I have not yet decided whether or not I am building these. All needs to depend on the buyer and my willingness to actually part with these. This is part of my long term personal collection, and i am going to have quite a hard time letting these babies go...

A weird situation popped up, and I ended up with these beautiful forged wheel halves. long story but the parts were supposed to be made for other faces i was building, but instead they were cut to fit the compomotive faces on accident.

Specs are made for an e30 M3 looking to run an aggressive set. This is pretty much in my mind the ultimate set of wheels for one of those cars. I believe an e28 could also make these sizes work

    the wheels are
5x120 original Compomotive cx600 6061 faces (my personal set that i was saving)
    16x3"f and 16x3.5"r with 6.5" inners for all 4

wheel halves add up to a 9.5 and 10" wheel as it is face mount.

wheel lips are mirror polished, inner barrels are brushed radially and gloss clear powder

center caps are here but didnt have a chance to fit them yet. Long story, but I was able to fund (8) original center caps being produced off of the original drawings from compomotive... nice to have cool friends at cool wheel companies abroad.

faces were media blasted, then stripped to make sure the surface is perfect.. the faces were then powdercoated in semi gloss black 3 stage (chrome base, semi gloss black x2). faces were then machined so that the face went back down to metal. we then radially brushed the faces where the exposed metal sat. then back for 2 more coats of gloss clear.... long process but i had a vision and needed to execute to my level since the wheel was originally going to be 18" and going on one of my projects..

price is set at 3600 firm. This is my personal favorite set and i have lots of sets that are worth double this..

pics of the set... these just need to be sealed. obviously not doing so until someone with an aggressive time appropriate bmw comes forward

Set can be built to 16" or 18" with parts I have aside for it. So buyers have the option for either.

Price is getting lowered to 3500 firm for the set in 16" and 3950 in 18". 18" parts currently aside are 2.5"/3" lips and 7.5inners. To make a 10/10.5" wheel aimed at an e46m

i now decided that I am ok with parting with these... Sad as it is after holding onto these 2 sets for so long.

cant wait to see them on a project. Anyone want these on their car for h2oi next month?

16" parts are gone, given to another friends set. 18" parts are happening again!

set can be any width needed.

Just got 2 boxes of parts for the personal collection in, some of the rarest items ive ever seen... So as a result, these have now been lifted to the status of : motivated to sell

18" widths to fit whatever vehicle you would like. These would look epic on an e46m, i would personally do for that 18x9.5 and 18x10.5 with some decent tire

satin black inner barrels, polished lips, polished/black faces, stainless m6 hardware. 3750

youre not going to find another set like it, as its the only of its kind in 18" size... wheels are light too.
