The barrels will clear, however the backside of the bolts will NOT clear. I looked at milling down the bolts and shaving the caliper. However, I was uncomfortable shaving probably 6mm from the caliper. It's best to run a 10-12mm spacer, IMO.


BTW OP: These are not HRE 504s. They are Hayashi Techno-Rs. The style is similar, however they are very different wheels.

I thought it was understandable from the thread. Sorry, FSUjbp is right. They're the Hayashi version of 504s or the "japanese HRE". Hayashis have a 12 3/4" ID versus the slightly smaller 12" of HRE parts. Again, sorry for any confusion.

I think that these are far preferable vs 504s. The larger faces make better looking wheels if you step them up to 17s or 18s. Also, the center caps are far easier for a machine shop to replicate. Finally, they are older and more rare than 504s.

Good luck with the sale. I have very good condition lips and barrels in a variety of sizes if anyone ends up with these and wants to change them up.
