Hello all!
Here I have for sale my beloved set of 17" Work VSXX (2nd gen). They are currently unfinished, which is to your advantage. I am looking to get rid of them for a slew of reasons. With this set, my loss is your gain, especially when the cost of powder coating is added in.
They have been recently powder coated a "Escalade White" pearl faces, and gloss black inner barrels. The hardware are original Work assembly bolts. All 4 original black/gold VS center caps are included, along with Work valve stems.
The unfinished part comes in to play with the lips. Two lips are in perfect condition, while one has repairable damage, and the 4th lip is pretty much scrap metal.
So...
(2) 17x6" inner barrels
(2) 17x6.5" inner barrels
(2) 17x2.5" polished lips (one with slight bend and curb rash)
(2)17x2" polished lips (one almost useless)
Effective sizes:
17x8 +40
17x9 +35
One face backpad has damage from a broken wheel stud from the previous own. I have mounted and driven on the wheel to ensure there was no vibration from being out of round or not mounting flush. I also used a straight edge and a feeler gauge to double check for any high or low spots and their is none. The faces rolls true and perfect despite the damage. I can send pictures if you're really concerned about this.
The bent lips held air before disassembly, but I'm sure they will be replaced anyways. This is a perfect set to build upon. I will also include the old locking nuts that are a bit rusted up, but can be cleaned up easily. Or New nuts can be purchased from wheelflip for $40.
