They were fully refinished, with the exception of the lips (because I wanted to keep the clear coat. Lips have a few scratches by no rash).

Do these take standard 40 hole barrels? Aka would vsxx lips work on them?

Yes, They are 40 hole with the 40th being the valve stem (take a look at the rear pic I posted). VSXX lips and barrels have 40 holes plus extra one for the valve stem. I was told that the VSXX stuff works if the 40th hole is drilled out a bit bigger to accomadate the valve stem (which is the 40th hole on the AMEs) and you just don't use the leftover valve stem hole on the vsxx. Does that make sense?
