This is a reluctant sale and I've changed my mind a few times as I did intend to fit them but they're now definitely for sale.
The term's "rare" and "jdm" usually go hand in hand and are bandied around a lot, most of the time the former is unjustifiably used in my opinion, but these wheels fall firmly into that catagory… They're genuinely rare.
17x8+9 Tomei TMR Concepts by Desmond
Find me a set in any size and I'll be surprised, find me a set in 17's with this spec and completeness and you're lying..
These are hens teeth, well made and an unusual set of early 90's JDM split rim goodness.
These were usually made in 16's and they're rare, this set is the biggest specs they released for these as far as I know;
17x8 Fronts (ET TBC)
17x9 Rears (ET TBC)
To complete this set I've got ALL "Tomei" centre nuts and all 4 centre plates, this is basically the best set you're likely to find anywhere, ever, straight up. The few sets of 16's I've seen for sale were 16x7+8 and none of them had the centre caps.
Lips only have miner curbing, lacquer crazing and scratches. Overall they're in good condition and It wouldn't take much sanding/polishing to get these looking amazing.
Centres have mostly been stripped back to bare metal and just need prep finishing and painting/polishing.
No buckles or previous welds but one barrel does have a small crack in it, obviously this can be easily repaired or replaced but I'm selling them "as is" otherwise I mareswell polish them up and keep them or sell them refurbed for top price.
With that in mind and considering how rare they are and what they're potentially worth once refurbished I want £550, which equates to (generous rounding) $860
I can securely ship them to anywhere in the World and have done on many occasions so you can buy with 100% confidence that you will get what you've paid for.
EU will cost around £100 and US shipping will cost around £150 on a 3-5 day service (usually 3 days).
I am open to SENSIBLE OBO's, I'm not in a rush to sell them and I've priced them to sell so please no time wasters, genuine interest only.
