I decided I'm happy with the miata being on RPF1s/azenis, and i put this up on another forum, so I figured I would follow up here..
just completed and built with no expense spared. These were intended for me, and may end up staying with me, but oddly enough I like the damn 14s on the car
the goal was to build a set that looked the part and required zero upkeep. wipe them off with a rag after the track or after driving a few weeks. no polishing, no work to keep them looking the way they do..

15x8 bbs rs001 4x100 original, flat backed faces
faces chemical stripped, glass bead blasted, powder coated gloss white, then diamond cut for the brushed edge of spokes and finally clear powder coated to protect it all.
same for waffle plates
new german forged lips 2"
lips radially brushed to match the finish on the faces, gloss clear powder on top
oem new old stock barrels 15x5.5 stripped, glass bead blasted, powder coated satin black
triple chrome stainless steel bolts
serrated zinc plated nuts
half height billet hex caps mirror polished gloss clear powder on top
white/gold bbs logos
bbs metal valve stems with bbs stem caps
added 225/45/15 hankook rs3 which are currently sold out across the country. meaty but perfect fitting for a more performance oriented build
15x4.5 spare tire with 125/90/15 new tire
same goes for the face, inner and outer halves both brushed and clear powder
pictures in different light conditions.
before the tires went on. slightly closer to what it looks like in real life. super hard to capture the brushed finish, but this is the most accurate to real life. The depth of the color combo really comes out in some lighting conditions. shown with blue logos here, can be arranged as well
PRICE
(4) wheels alone - 2750$ cash picked up - no tires, no spare wheel = just the 4 wheels that were just built
(4) wheels + (4) tires - 2900 cash picked up
(4)wheels with (4) tires and (1) spare with tire- 3000$ cash picked up firm
the tires are 650$ and the spare is about 900$ in parts, so please don't pm to make me a ridiculous offer on the spare since the price difference above is only 100$. Not selling it alone and certainly not selling it for a hundred bucks.
shipping can be arranged, buyer to pay shipping on top... these are non negotiable numbers and they are purposefully low for quick sale. I am not even making my investment back on them, so please keep the offers to a minimum
also no trades, no payment plans, nothing out of the norm. Payment comes in, I will coordinate shipping/pick up time. Not trying to come off rude, just not looking for the runaround or windowshopper
