  • Official D. Bales Shift Knobs and Shift Accessories For Sale Thread

Okay, since I get a decent amount of PMs about the shift knobs I make, I figured I'd make a master for sale thread to show all the options I provide. I'll keep the other thread open for showcasing new things and customer reviews and pictures.

At the moment, I offer one main product : The Bowling Pin shift knob

This however isn't limited to one style or look. There are 4 style knobs I make. Those are:

Tallboy: Essentially how it sounds, its the tallest knob I make. Signature of the Tallboy is the flare at the bottom, as it uses more of the bowling pin that it was cut from.

    (Burnt Maple)

The Tallboys are around 6" tall but threads can be countersunk to your specs.

Fatboy: Also kind of how it sounds, it is essentially a shorter Tallboy.

    (Red Mahogany)

    (Burnt Maple)

Fatboys are around 4" tall but threads can be countersunk to your specs.

Skinnyboy: At around 4" tall, the Skinnyboy is how it sounds, a skinnier Fatboy knob. These are closer to "normal" OEM shift knobs.

    (Dark Maple)

Skinnyboys are around 4" tall but threads can be countersunk to your specs.

Original: Keeps the original look of a bowling pin.

To be clear, all "Bowling Pin knobs" are made from a hard maple wood. They are stained and finished to the customers liking. I am experimenting with different woods, so check the Showcase thread for more info and updates.

    Prices:

    Tallboy: $25 shipped
    Fatboy: $25 shipped
    Skinnyboy: $28 shipped
    Original: $20 shipped

Any questions? Ask in the thread so that everyone can see the answer.

    Thanks for looking.

I'll probably be in contact with you sometime soon for a knob.. sounds dirty.. and I like .

No but seriously though, I'll be in contact soon for one.

Edit: Actually, how much would it be shipped to Canada, for all prices listed above?.. Roughly (Let's say Toronto, Ontario.. for now).

I've never shipped out of country, so I'm not currently aware of the prices. The next knob I send out, for shits and giggles, I'll ask how much it would be for something like that shipped to Canada. I appreciate the interest and look forward to working with you.

Alright man, sounds good. I too look forward to working with you!

I'm just gonna throw a guestimate out there, since I've done a lot of shipping to the States.. I'd say it's probably gonna be in the neighbourhood of around $20 extra to get them up here.. depending on where you, personally, live. To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if it's more, but I think it should be somewhere around there.

Wow $20 more? I'll check into it Monday since I have a knob I've gotta ship out and get back with ya.

Burnt Maple fatboy shipped to 08559? Would I be able to get one to fit a Jaguar XJ6 automatic shifter? My car is an '88 if it matters.

Prices include shipping. Is the shifter a thread on style? Pm me some pics of the shifter without the knob and I'll see what I can do.

I would love to get a fatboy that as close color-wise as you can get to NRG's wood grain color

Well since I've been working my new job, I really haven't had the time to make the shift knobs like I used to. I have some I was working on right before I switched jobs and can't use all at once, lol, so I wanna sell of the stash. The new ones have beer caps set in epoxy in the knob. PM me for more info.

Also, if you've contacted me about a knob in the past couple months and I haven't replied, I apologize.

I hope to some day soon have the means to make these again and be back in business. I'll be letting them go for cheap.
