Purchased 3 months ago for a video shoot project and only used it a handful of time since. My buddy has $15k worth of camera and lighting equipment so I just end up borrowing more then I use my own.
Purchased from B&H Photo for around $1600 shipped in March-ish. Camera equipment, especially lenses, don't drop in value much, this should be a killer deal for someone looking to get into HD video. The 17mm to 50mm super wide to portrait lense is the best general purpose lens you can get, and since this Sigma has a fixed aperture of f 2.8 its perfect for video. Also has built in optical image stabilization.
