ZC's are a 4100 just with short springs, why don't you try your hand with them at the track?

You could probably just get a 5" spring and it will be identical to a 4100.

I thought of that but unfortunately, they are as much different as they are similar.

AST 4100s are dampening adjustable and IIRC, the ZC are not.

as you can see in this picture the ASTs are top adjustable. I am more concerned about the amount of suspension travel in the ZCs versus 4100s for street driving and light tracking (i have my e46 with motons for all track duty)

ZC: no adjustability. They are for going low and cruising. Nothing wrong with that.

I increased the ride height, I will see how it rides and might change my mind since I plan to just drive around

if you want the e36 to be a good track car, and fully functional... Why did you sell those brakes?

I already have a full tracked out E46 m3. The brakes did not come on the car when i purchased it. He parted it out.

And you don't need a BBK to have a fully functional track car. You just need lines, good fresh fluid and track pads.

I plan to use this for daily driving. and the occasional auto x when I am bored AND I want to track it at least once

Lets stay on topic. Coils for sale. nothing else. Thanks

Not yet. I didnt put the car down but from my estimate it didnt raise much. I will find out Friday when im home how low/high it is.

Honestly I would try to just raise it and try it on the track before swap them, I have ast 4100 with 6" F and 5" R spring and they are low when they are fully raised theses shock are made for being low. Fully raised your suspension geometry should be ok. Give it a try it cost nothing!
