  • FS: UK - E46/E39 OEM Roof Bars with Yakima Deflector

Decided to take it off the car to go down a more clean route. I really love them although with the look I am going for they don't fit. Which sucks after all the effort I went through to get the deflector. The Yakima deflector was one of two I imported from the states. They cost me a lot more than expected after customs had their way with me. I could put money on them being one of the only BMW setups with a deflector in the country.

The roof bars are the OEM bars for E46s and E39s, they don't have the original bolts but do come with properly fitting allen bolts and washers etc. One of the plastic end caps has cracked from delivery to me. I took this up with the courier but as I had opened the package they refused to issue a refund. It still folds up and clicks into position and you can only see it up close.

The Yakima deflector has been modified to fit, so will not split the two. The original mount ends have been trimmed and the bar has been drilled and the deflector bolted on to the bars. The bolts are not visible thanks to the rubber cover that runs through the centre.

Even still got the little stickers to put on your roof to protect the paint from the foam pads on the feet of the deflector.

If there is much interest I can get detailed up close photographs. Since these photos I have moved the middle two mounts forward for more of a curved fit and flusher fit to the roof.

Looking for £140+post/collection from DE3. Offers welcome.

Can't answer the snowboard question, but it might be cheaper for you to get it from over there?

The deflector cost me an extra £20 in import charges when I bought it so seems a bit mad to go post it back to America. I'll find out shipping costs though and get some pictures for you later.
