  • v.2 Widebody, shaved, caged, 650hp MK6 GLi

So the time has come once again to list this car for sale. It’s been a rollercoaster of fun owning this milestone of a vehicle for the past year. But as of now it’s time to move on and as I move forward in my personal and professional career this car is something that must be passed on for someone else to enjoy. With my current location of living in Wisconsin this car is not driven for a good five to six months of the year depending on the severity of the winter. Therefore this car needs to be in an area where the daily driver capability is useable!
Let’s get into the car then. This is the “Project Madonna” widebody GLI built by USP Motorsports in Florida, the car truly represents the line between striving for something different but keeping the sleeper look intact. The original creator of this car Patrick wrote up a full description of the car which I will post here: It is flawless, and I will personally guarantee that I to whomever buys it, if they do. The car is something you truly have to experience for yourself. It's an animal, and NOTHING like a stock mk6.
The car has never been in any accidents. The body is near perfect. 9.5/10. The only minor imperfection is a 2" long scratch at the edge of the quarter panel, from wheel rubbing against it, it’s something minimal. Other than that, nothing.
For those that know the car, know it. There's an almost 80 page build thread here on Vortex about the car, since the day I got it, and everything it's been through. From the time it was bagged, to when I decided to go APR stage 3+, to an even bigger turbo upgrade with custom tuning, to the 10 second quarter mile runs, built head, etc etc..
I could go on and on about this car really, there's just way way way too much to list and talk about. If your serious about the car, feel free to PM me or email me, and we can further discuss it. I'll also give you my phone number for direct contact if serious. If this car does sell, I want to be sure that it goes to a good home, and to someone who will truly maintain it and take care of it. So I don't want to sell it to just anyone, and then see it get destroyed.
The car has been tracked, about 5 or 6 times on the drag strip. All this kind of stuff you will see in the build thread: http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...LI-AirLift-BBS
    On to specs:
    2012 GLI
    6 Speed Manual
    30,xxx miles
Engine: It's bulletproof. The built head was finally put on and tested at about 18k miles. When the motor was apart at that same time, everything was checked, including pistons, rods, cylinder walls, compression, everything. The motor is perfect, healthy. Not a single hint of any problems, no leaks, nothing. The car currently has two custom APR tunes. One for 93 octane, which makes anywhere from 420-450 ish whp depending on boost settings, and a race gas tune which makes 520-580 whp depending on boost settings. There is a Greddy Profec Spec II boost controller to keep track of all that. Everything of which I will go over with whoever is serious about the car. Also have dyno sheets of everything, videos, etc.
FIRSTLY, timing chain tensioner slipped at 29k miles, bent all valves. So the head has been fully rebuilt at 29k miles, polished and ported with all new Ferrrea valves and stems. All the chains have also been replaced with updated tensioner and guides. Full testing on the engine, she's running great!
