Hello there,
I've decided to part ways with my Benz. It's been a fun little project but now it's time to move on. Car originally came from the West Coast and spent alot of time in the desert. Pro, very minimal rust and none of it is structural. Con, paint is faded.
Details:
-1992 Mercedes Benz 300TE (W124)
-Inline 6-Cylinder Gasoline
-Automatic
-183,808 miles currently (title reads 188,448 because of a typo on the clerks part that I didn't catch until later)
-Lowered on modified E36 M3 Bilstein inverted monotube struts, Completely custom Bilstein aluminum body monotube shocks in the rear, and cut H&R lowering springs
-New rear lower control arms
-New rear sway bar end links
-New brake pads all around
-Custom 2.5" exhaust with no catalysts and one muffler
-18" S600 wheels (18X8.5 Front & 18x9.5 Rear)
-215/35R18 Nankang tires
-Motorsport Hardware wheel stud conversion
-15mm spacers in the Rear, 12mm spacers up Front
-New passanger rear window regulator
-New spark plugs
-Fresh oil change
Now, onto the not so great stuff:
-Because the car spent most of it's life in the desert, the paint is very oxidized. I like the patina look, so it never bothered me, but it cannot simply be buffed out.
-Dings and scratches here and there, and the passenger rear door is a bit wavy.
-Headlight lenses were so oxidized and cracking, that I just removed them.
-Some pieces of interior trim are missing or broken.
-No radio.
-No A/C (previous owner removed both radio and A/C for some reason).
-Slight drain on the battery, so I've been removing the negative cable when I park it for any longer than a week.
Asking $3499 OBO.
No Trades.
