2000 BMW 323iT
Automatic Transmission
195000 miles
Location: Middle Tennessee
Sadly I am moving on from my wagon. I have put 60000 enjoyable miles on it, but I am going back to my roots with another Nissan.
I'll start with the cons:
Cabin air temp sensor comes and goes.
A/C works great but you have to trick the system by turning the temp down to 59*. I am hoping to have this fixed however.
Automatic
Self explanatory. I couldn't justify paying double the price for a MT. Fluid has been changed regularly and I have never had any problems out of it.
There are a few small door dings and highway rock pits. The most noticeable ding is under the BMW emblem on the hood.
The interior is in very good shape, but the PO must have used a cleaner that pulled the dye out of some of the leather panels. So there are some yellow streaks in some of the door panels and the arm rest. There are fabric pins in the headliner in the cargo area holding the headliner up.
Rear armrest cupholder tabs are broken so it doesn't stay together.
Pros:
Weathertech mats
No dash warning lights whatsoever.
Peake Research code reader included.
ICarly bluetooth OBD reader included. (Would have to buy the app for your smart phone.)
Bentley repair manual included
What I have done to the car.
I replaced the MAF and intake tubes.
Replaced throttle body.
Spark plugs.
Power Steering Reservior.
Added rear cubby and dual 12v outlets in front of the back seat.
I love the car, and I have gotten more attention driving this wagon than any Z or 240SX I have ever owned, but I got a good deal on another 300ZX and I don't need 6 cars in my drive way. I will post interior pictures soon, or by request.
Thanks,
