1997 BMW E39 521i - Brisbane 4504
$1650 as is or $1500 bring your own battery as it has a new $300 battery installed.
Mauritius Blue 1997 BMW E39 Sedan with Blue leather interior for sale. Interior is in fairly good condition with 1 tear on the drivers seat bottom, the in-dash drink holder is broken and 1 button for the master power switch to disable passengers from using the power windows is missing. The switch still works, it just doesn't have the pretty cover. I can however have these parts available for the buyer if needed as I have spares on another BMW of mine.. The hood lining is also a little saggy, nothing too bad though.
Exterior has a few blemishes and some minor dents on the drivers side. Please see pictures showing the damage. I have had an estimate of $250 to repair the dents and touch up the paint.
The drivers side rear window regulator needs to be replaced, I have a brand new one here to install.
All other door regulators have been replaced already so none of the other Windows will give you any trouble. The car has had a full service with all filters (fuel,oil,air) replaced including new cabin air filters. New plugs and coil packs replaced as well.
The alternator has been replaced and while I was at it, I had a brand new radiator installed.
Good tyres all round with loads of tread. Could use a wheel balance as there is a slight wobble at 80kph and 95kph from the front right wheel.
The car has cruise control and Airconditiong, however the aircon has stopped blowing cold. I am yet to check the fuses though, could need a regas ($99).
Engine has 360,000km and runs smooth and still feels strong. The sports shift automatic works perfectly. New boot struts fitted as well. Recently had shock absorbers replaced and a power steering leak fixed.
I am sure there is more to mention. I have priced the car low seeing as there are a few things to fix. I would do them myself but I am time poor with work preventing me from getting around to doing the work myself.
It is a good reliable car that won't leave you stranded.
No repayments plans, no swaps. Cash only.
Selling as I purchased a 7 series and I need this gone from my driveway as my garage is full.
Only just cancelled the concessional registration on Friday.
