Vehicle: 85 bmw 520i grey market (from France)
Engine: m20 2.0 liter
Tranny: 5 speed
Mileage: odometer says under 100k
Price: 3500obo (original purchase price with delivery)
the car needs a few things; the chrome trim around the front and rear windows need replaced, needs seats as my dog ate the bolsters off of one of the seats. I have some e30 seats that I bolted in. Headliner is no longer and needs replaced. The interior is not the best but mostly there and not completely installed. No cracks in the dash. The paint is nice but needs to be cut and buffed it is metallic frost blue from a paint code off a 58 corvette. You can look at the progress on
The title is rebuilt the previous owner said that most grey market cars are but I have my doubts as the front valence and bumper center section was bent. I replaced both with factory bmw parts. The car is not perfect but looks good from the outside. With some work this could be a really nice car.
