  • Very Clean and Well-Sorted '97 Mk3 VW Jetta

Looking to just flat out sell now. Need space at home to garage the queen's car. :screwy:

1997 Volkswagen Jetta GL (unmolested 2.0L 8V) >> passes smog with flying colors. NO CEL.

Things I've done to this car in the short amount of time I've owned it:

    - Fresh Black Magic Pearl (Mk4 R32 OEM color).

    - Shaved windshield nozzles and rear trunk weld seams.

    - Brand new B&G RS2 Coilovers.

    - Motorsport Tech 4 & 5x100 dual drilled hubs.

    - 16" BBS RX (powdercoated semi-gloss black) wrapped in 195/40 Federal 595 Evos. Wil come with the OEM wheels too.

    - Genuine OEM Vento Texture Top Bumpers with all bumper plastics intact.

    - Rare Vento front lip in great condition (no cracks or rips).

    - Front bumper ducts.

    - Smoked corner lights.

    - Smoked Vento E-codes (DEPO).

    - OEM Vento 4-bar grill (no broken tabs).

    - NOS Mattig Cup mirrors.

    - Black front and rear emblems.

    - Rear Vento Euro license plate tub.

    - Textured moldings.

    - GLX Sideskirts (mint condition w/ no rips/tears).

    - Smoked tail lights.

    - Alpine head unit with AUX/USB ports.

    - Custom adjustable rear window louvers.

    - Sport Plaid GTi interior.

    - Black visors, dome light, and headliner.

    - Zender steering wheel.

    - Audi TT Pedals.

    - Mk1 Shift knob.

    - OEM VW Rubber floormats.

    - Brand new clam shell.

    - New shift boot.

    - European E-brake console.

    - Lower Cabrio shelf.

    - Upper glove box.

    - Votex roof rack with key.

    - Aftermarket muffler.

    - New alternator, timing belt, MAF sensor, and all fuses fully replaced. (no electrical gremlins whatsoever as I've addressed everything fully)

Things I'd recommend the new owner to address:

    - AC Compressor replacement (starting to squeal, but I can source one for very cheap for you).

    - Reconnect vacuum lines for door locks. (I manually lock the doors so it doesn't currently bug me.)

    - Car came with no rear speakers in the rear deck. I've since bought 2 OEM ones that need to be wired up. Front speakers/tweeters work perfectly fine.

I'm sure there is more that I've done to this car that I cannot currently think of, but I will update this as needed.

PM for SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY. All tire kickers will be kicked and money always talks. I feel my price is fair for what's been done and you no longer have to worry about doing.
