I am selling my 1984 VW Jetta Diesel. This car has brought me a lot of pleasures and joys but now it is time to move on, looking to change it up a little bit.
Car is 1984 Volkswagen Jetta with a 1.6L Naturally Aspirated Diesel which has been completely gone through and is in very strong condition. It is running an MK2 NA Diesel head with hydraulic lifters giving it slightly more power while also making it much more efficient. Nearly 40 MPG in and around the city (Not Highway Miles), have the Fuelly records to prove it.
Interior is in really great shape, crack-free dash working odometer and gauges, Blaupunkt period correct radio with AUX input. Front seats are the MK2 GLI Recaros, and the rear seats are the stock grey cloth seats in excellent condition. Carpet is in excellent condition as well. The steering wheel pictured will not be included, the original stock steering wheel will be, however will include the momo hub if you would like.
Suspension has all been gone through all bushings are within a year old, the car sits on raceland coilovers, stops on 90s Cabrio Front Brakes, stock rear brakes, and rolls on BBS RMs with Federal Tires.
Really the only thing bad about the car is the paint, it is peeling pretty badly on the hood roof and trunk, still looks really nice and with a pretty cheap respray would look killer. There is no major rust issues, there is a few spots where some surface rust has appeared but nothing in the way of structerial damage or to visible parts of the car

Overall this is a great car that requires nothing to get out a drive. Would make an excellent daily driver, I have daily driven the car for quite a while with no issues.
I am asking $7500 for the car as is with the BBS RMs included, or $6000 without bring your own wheels. I am willing to negotiate but keep in mind that this car is in excellent condition for being almost 32 years old. Lots of rare parts on it.
