1988 BMW M6 (140,000 miles) VIN:WBAEE1415J2561460 - $40k documented restoration just completed (2 years) on rust-free Colorado car - Windows out mirror smooth paint, many new OEM parts used (front & rear spoiler, grilles, moldings, window trim, gaskets, rubber on bumpers etc.) $4k spent on seats and new carpets, $2k spent on Alcantera headliner, $4.5k on stereo. Many aftermarket parts including: Bilstein/ H&R Suspension, Powerflex bushings, new control arms, new drilled brakes/ stainless lines, control arms, Ireland exhaust, Dinan chip, M-wheel, short shift kit, Motorsports pedals, etc. etc. Fresh tune-up (Fluids, plugs, wires, new battery) at 80s BMW specialist Guten Parts. With its aftermarket stereo and suspension mods, this car is not for the purist (please do not come to tell me this is not an original concours car), but it pulls hard, tracks straight, starts everytime and allows you to stream I-tunes (instead of a crackling cassette player) and Bluetooth. It is not yet perfect/ needs a few things: 1) trying to locate a couple plastic covers for under the front seats; 2) Looking for ashtray; 3) and driver's side door needs a very minor adjustment. I am asking $37,500 -Pay for most of the restoration/ get the car for free! E-mail me at hedgefundlawyer@comcast.net with questions or serious offers. Thx! Pics to come!
