  • FS: 2000 BMW Z3 "M" Roadster / Runs Great / Many OEM Extras / Lots Of Pics!

Up for sale is my 2000 z3 M roadster. I recently acquired this car in a trade plus cash for my e55 AMG. Looking to sell it as I have a family and a 2 seater is just not feasible lol.

The s52 "M" motor is extremely strong and nimble, and the 5 speed manual shifts smoothly with no grinds or pop outs. Clutch is extremely stiff and was recently replaced. Has no leaks.

    -Clean CA title
    -Valid registration
    -3 Owner
    -166k miles
-Fully maintained via carfax. Recent clutch, slave cylinder, belts, oil changes, o2 sensors, etc..
    -Cold A/C
    -Heater
    -Power Windows
    -Power Seats
    -Heated Seats
-Power top works quickly and correctly
-Harmon Kardon Sound (cd changer does not work)
    -OEM navigation w/ remote (rare)
-OEM keyless entry/alarm (2 master keys, 2 remotes, 1 valet key)
-1 year old convertible top and window
    -Dinan engine software
-5 month old Michelin Pilot A/S3 front tires with 90% tread
-New OEM "M" badges all around
-5 month old OEM "M" floormats
    -etc!!

    EXTRAS:
    -OEM full hood/bumper bra
    -OEM windscreen
    -OEM trunk luggage rack
    -OEM z3 trunk rack suitcase
    -OEM convertible window protector
-OEM locking car cover with lock, key, and cable
    -OEM black leather tonneau cover

This car runs and drives straight, strong, and beautiful! Have already driven it to Vegas and it was a blast of a car! If it was in the cards I'd keep it due to it's rarity but I need a 4 or 5 seater car.

I've read that in this color combo that only 101 have been made for the US market. The Oxford green metallic still looks great for being 15 years old with some minor wear and tear of a daily driven car. The black nappa leather interior is still in very good condition. Dash has no cracks, door panels are still in good condition, carpet is very clean, and seats still feel firm and show minimal signs of wear. Overall very clean and presentable.

I've sold many cars on bimmerforums and I am a firm believer in making sure my ads are as truthful as possible to eliminate all the BS and time wasting. The small cosmetic areas of concern are:
-Passenger side A pillar has some clearcoat peel
-Passenger side fender grill has some clearcoat peel
-Passenger side rear bumper has some scuffs
-Drivers door has a few small shopping cart or door dings
-Drivers door panel leather needs to be re-affixed at the top corner
-Carfax shows a minor rear accident in 2008. Body and paint match great and title is clean. Again, I'm extremely anal and this did not bother me.

All in all, this car just needs a new driver. Just get in and go as the car is mechanically sound and I've been daily driving it when I'm alone or with the wife.

Asking $8,500 obo. The rare extra parts alone are worth a pretty penny. Willing to ship at buyers expense. Car is Located in San Diego, CA. Please PM for any questions or text me at 619-356-3457

The car is an absolute go kart handling fun toy to drive with gobs of power and torque! Especially with the Dinan software. Mine is priced well below others I've seen as well. I know someone is looking for a steal of a deal!

I can ship at buyers expense. Last year I shipped a 740il to Boston and was about $1,100.

i know what it costs, i just bought an e39 M5 from beverly hills. $1,100 is 13% of the purchase price and just above the % in my mind it makes sense to not look local.

beautiful car for a great price, good luck

Beautiful. If this didn't have so many miles I'd be all over it. Never see these M Roadsters going for this price. GLWS

                        Thanks bud!

Yeah the price reflects the slightly higher mileage but has definitely been taken care of. I'd rather have a car that's been driven and maintained versus a low mileage one that was barely driven that I pay a premium for that needs gobs of expensive repairs. This car is a solid driver for sure as I just went to Vegas last weekend in it with ac blasting In 110 degree weather.
