Time has come to sell one of my two show cars, this thing drops panties :0 It is a show car for the most part, however it has just become my daily since my youngest son just got his license. main reason for sale is I'm in the middle of a divorce and have to sell one of the two cars I have
I am the second owner of this baby, and all the beautiful work was done by the original owner. There is so much to list about this car, so I'll just cover a few goods and bads, then get into more details with SERIOUS BUYERS!!!!
Goods:
01 Volks MK4 Wolfsburg Edition 4dr
VR6 swapped engine, 6 speed (millage unk, approx. 90xxx on engine 157,xxx on body)
Shaved Engine Bay
Interior very good shape all seats no rips or tears 8/10
Exterior also very nice for its age very little wear 8/10
V1 air ride system
Custom air ride trunk set up (real hard wood for floor, and copper hard lines)
18" BBS RS Wheels (NO REPS HERE) good shape for there age, outside lips could use some touch up but the actual step lip faces are very nice..
Nicely stretched tires (all with awesome tread)
Shaved - Hood & body (side marker deletes)
List goes on and on..........
Bads:
Emissions- will not pass (not because there is anything wrong with it, but due to the vr6 engine swap when the VIN is scanned it does not regester in the system. I simply registered it in a county that requires no emissions.
Rust- Only spots are directly on the underside of the hood along the weld where the extra piece to extend the hood was added. not rusted through but does show some minor bubbling on top side nothing that noticiable but it's there..
No AC or ABS - both were deleted when the engine swap was done....
-passenger side ball joint sounds like going out
-passenger side window tint scratched up
Newly installed parts:
-water pump (metal fins)
-master cylinder
-driver side axle (dealership install) took it in the rear on this one
-Brand new set of Air Lift Slam series front struts w/bags installed 9/16/15 ($850 value)
Like I said there is so much to cover about this vehicle I could type and type. Those that are serious can come look at it and we can discuss things then. I have a clean title, but there is a Lien on the vehicle because I had to borrow on it to cover what cash I didn't have.
