  • 1997 BMW M3; Techno Violet

For sale I have my 1997 BMW M3 in Techno Violet. The car has a Felony Form wide body kit on it.. other than that the car is bone stock. The motor has never been modified in any way. Interior is Modena (beige) in color and has no rips or tears in seats. This car has received oil changes every 3-4k miles with Mobil 1 15w50 synthetic in summer and Motul 5w40 synthetic in winter (rarely driven in winter). It has 135,XXX miles on it and it is a 5 speed manul transmission.

    Maintenance:
All power steering lines were replaced - 12/23/13
Full rear suspension overhaul (subframe bushings, RTAB's, sway bar bushings, all ball joints, etc.) - 1/17/14
    Differential fluid change - 1/17/14
    Flushed brake fluid - 1/17/14
Rear bumper was repainted due to the paint fading - 1/17/14
Clutch and 12lb flywheel were replaced - 6/4/14
Slave cylinder, rear crank seal, pivot pin, and all bolts also replaced with clutch on 6/4/14
Air mass meter boot replaced - 8/1/14
    Air filter replaced - 7/22/15
    Front spoiler added - 7/22/15
Front brake rotors, pads and sensor replaced - 7/22/15
Windshield was replaced and a new cowl - 7/22/15
Heater hose was replaced along with intake manifold gaskets and fuel injector seals - 8/19/15
    Valve cover replaced - 8/19/15
    Spark Plugs replaced - 8/19/15
    Fuel Filter replaced - 12/15/15
    Fuel directional valve/fuel regulator replaced - 12/15/15
New front control arms and associated bushings - 2/3/16
Outer tie rods replaced - 2/3/16
    Front shocks replaced - 2/3/16

Probably some things I am forgetting, but I do have service receipts for everything done on the car so those will be there when you come to look at the car.

    Aftermarket:
1996 328is sway bar, due to its bigger size (24mm) and polyurethane sway bar bushings
    After market radio unit
    Euro ZKW Headlights

This car really does not need any work. It is in great shape and is a rare color. Please contact me if you are interested in the car. 571-271-4903

I would, but I've been looking for a E46 M for awhile now and I think now is the time I want to get one. So unfortunately I have to sell my car

        I would correct your ad.

"Rear bumper was repainted because the previous owner tried to bondo the entire thing."

Like I stated on every forum you commented this on..

You obviously didn't understand what I was trying to say. I'm stating the color of this car is original from the factory. I never stated the car had not been hit, but if you cared to contact me I would have told you that. Thank you

For anyone wondering, the frame is completely fine on this car, the damage from that accident had no structural damage at all. The car was fixed and everything was perfect, but I decided to go with the wide body. I have a 4k receipt from the body shop with a full description of how they repaired the damage to the quarter... Not like it matters at this point since it has the over fenders.

No one thinks it has structural damage. When you dont mention it was wrecked it makes you look suspect. And like I said on THE other forum, you wouldn't have mentioned it had no one asked.

I agree. Full disclosure is always way better in the eyes of buyers. Personally with what is done to it I think it's worth asking price. GLWS

I'm interested.... How'd they go about fixing the driver quarter? By the pic it looks like the quarter was compromised around the tail light?!

It's a unibody frame, did they cut the quarter (new metal) or fill it?

                          Pic of my potential trade....
