2005 BMW E46 M3
bought from 2nd owner with 83k miles
clean title
passed smog and registered
was side swiped by 18 wheeler on driver rear quarter panel, only cosmetic damage. no frame damage. repaired by autobahn collision in studio city.
At 85,360 miles rod bearing spun and engine was pulled and swapped with S54 out of 2007 Z4 M with 75k miles.
brakes were done less than a week ago
new posiquiet pads, new meyle rotors, new sensors (done @ 86,440)
new alternator (done @ 86,480)
UUC short shifter
new BC racing BR type coilovers (done @ 84,9XX)
new ebay M pedals
new cup holder
new jack point pads
new air intake filter (done @ 83,842)
new cabin air filter (done @ 83,842)
new ignition coils (done @ 83,622)
new corner lights (done @84,9XX)
new OE BMW key
LED lights, but flickers, will include factory bulbs
steering wheel replaced with one in better condition
audiovox media bridge with specdock iphone 6 dock. has USB, BT, AUX, and Mic
valves adjusted on new motor (done @ 75,XXX on new motor)
new fuel filter (not installed)
new thermostat (not installed)
new BMW coolant (unopened)
needs transmission and differential fluid changed in 750 miles (will supply Red Line fluids)
subframe is currently being reinforced
i have receipts and documentation for everything. car currently has 86k miles on chassis 76k miles on motor. pulls strong. everything works. heated and power seats. harman kardon stereo, tinted windows.
ive had a corolla, two 240SXs, a honda fit, a 350z and this M3. This is the best car ive owned but maintenance is killing me. I knew it was going to be rough but my priorities have changed. If i was in a better place making better money i would definitely keep the car. In my opinion its the best 4 seater rear wheel drive coupe, in both looks and performance. This was my dream car and i finally got it, but it isnt for everyone. I hope to see the car go to someone who can appreciate it and maintain it.
cons:
- needs new oil level sensor, yellow oil light comes on for a couple seconds at startup and oil temp gauge isnt working.
$20K OBO, do not be afraid to offer. Keep in mind, car has a newer motor with valves already adjusted and the subframe is being reinforced. Can reduce price without coilovers. will put stock exhaust back before sale. absolutely no trades
