  • FT/FS: bagged 2006 Jetta TDI | CT | more than a feeler

I've decided to part with my daily driver. I love the car, but I really want to go back to a Mk4. Ideally I'm looking for a nice 2-door Mk4 Golf tdi, but I will entertain other offers. Outright, I would be looking for $7000 with a bunch of extras.

It's a 2006 tdi with a 5 speed manual. Recently had the top end rebuilt, so it should be good for another 150k. It has a bit less that 170,000 on it. Gets 35mpg commuting back roads, 47 on the highway. Stage 1.5 Malone Tune and techtonics straight pipe exhaust. Has GTI wheels on it, and will come with stock wheels, and AMG wheels. Bags are airlift performance with accuair e-level. GTI grille, smoked headlights, foglights. tan leather interior, heated seats, AC, Sony/tomtom GPS with DVD/mp3 and ipod connectivity, bluetooth too, and a sub in the trunk. Moonroof. R-line mirror caps. There's probably more...

    issues:
e-level system is acting up currently
    needs paint
    saggy headliner

It had been a faithful daily driver for me for a few years, 50-100 miles a day, and it has been the most comfortable car I have ever owned. Fantastic for long trips. I'm selling my house, so I hope to be driving less. I honestly wouldn't mind keeping it, but if someone wanted it, I would have no problem letting go of it; I figured I should make the first move. I'll update this periodically.

It did not come with detroits stock, but that's what I use for winter wheels.

Interior is tan leather, heated fronts

I may get some cheap coils to throw on just so I can keep driving it while I'm trying to sell.

Coils going on this week, I'm keeping all the other air parts on it. I just figure it would sell better if it could be test driven...

at this juncture, I would consider trades for either a diesel Mercedes or an E46 coupe, or a very nice E30...

Bump because the car is now sitting on JOM coils and just had yearly maintenance done with new brake pads and rotors. I'm extremely open to trades right now, so let me know what you have.
