    1993 VW Corrado SLC
located in long island NY (11701)
i trust this so much that with full payment i will pretty much deliver or help deliver anywhere along the east coast and some parts of the country.

ok so with some added info from the past owner Grits 'n gravy (you can search his name and find the orig FS thread from summer of 2013)

i bought the car nov 2013, have been daily driving it since. almost 18k, never a single issue i didn’t cause myself. never left me stranded never let me down.
sowo, h20i all over the north east.

    since i have had it.

oil changes every 3000 or less depending on oil pan..
replaced pan twice and pump ..
now it has a "hardlines by swoops" vr6 shorty pan with mkv r pump so the pan sits above the control arms no worries about a cracked pan here!!

one of the first things i was forced to do was the grüven parts billet Corrado Hood Clip
i did the water pump and serp belt. 5k ago
    Coolant flush 5k
    e-brake cables 5k
oil change and fuel filter 500 miles ago
rear bearings rotors brakes & abs rings were done 6k ago
ball joints, tie rod ends, front pads, 1k ago
all 4 tires and alignment 4k ago (1 new tire about 1.5k)
new bushings when the air ride was done
it's got airlift front and rear bags with easy street management one compressor and a 3 gal tank.. PLUS hard lines "by swoops"
the whole thing fits in the spare tire well. i currently have it mounted above the spare so i can keep the spare in there for longer trips but it sits flush under the carpet if need be.
wheels were refinished in sept stripped and resprayed centers, polished lips.

prior to me it was owned by a VW tech he did everything you can imagine on it including the vr6 recondition and swap..

currently has 211k on cluster. At 180k the lower timing chain tensioner let go so I purchased an engine from Autohaas Parts in Paterson NJ, the engine was pulled from a red 98 jetta glx with 63k, before installing I replaced the timing chains guides, tensioners and rear main seal and engine gaskets.

he owned it for years preforming the following maintenance

    Brake fluid flush
New gear oil in the transmission
    Coolant flush
    Clutch
    Oil pan and pump
    Oil filter flange and drain
Fuel lines in the engine compartment, complete with new brackets
Thermostat, housing all temp sensors, and Billet crack pump
    A/C compressor, condenser, expansion valve
Heater core and retaped heater box blend doors
    HVAC controls
    Cooling fan
    Fan control module
    Thermoswitch
EGR valve, temp sensor and solenoid valve
    MAF
    Spark plugs and wire set
    Coilpack
    Oil pressure switches
    Oil Temp switch
Fuel pump, ecu and load reduction relays
    Fuel line check valve
    Fuel tank seal
    Installed OEM cabin filter setup
    Ignition switch
    Radiator
    Rear wheel bearings and races
Replaced all fuses and bulbs throughout the entire car
Installed Eurowires relayed harness for Vr6 ecodes
    New OEM grille
    New OEM front lip
New OEM center dash insert, was the 3rd to last in the country at the time.
New OEM fogs and turn signals
New OEM front and rear VW badges
OEM silver Corrado, SLC and vr6 badges
New OEM Headlight, Euro fog, and defroster switches
3/4 of a full respray (everything minus the roof)
New OEM passenger side window regulator

    including the following mods

    Grey manual seat belts
    Grey lower dash trays
    B4 Passat moonroof assembly
TT stainless steel catback (factory system rotted out on me)
    K&N panel filter
    Steel braided brake hoses
    Mk4 rear calipers
    Front cross drilled rotors
    VF engine and transmission mounts
    Samco Coolant hoses
    H&R sway bars

some people say "i would trust this car to drive to blahs blah blahhhh" well i actually did drive it to sowo straight there.. drove around there.. then drove back solo straight no breaks and not a hiccup.. to be able to do that i'm pretty sure it's reliable.
this things got SO many euro rare parts from dash shelves to headlights all the fancy fancy.

    ** the not so great**
could use sunroof seal, not tomorrow but soon. i have a garage to keep it in so it’s not leaking but when you wash it and SPRAY it directly the headliner will get wet.
drivers side bluster is ripped a little. (l shape rip 2 inches corner 2 inches)
drivers seat doesn’t fold forward you can feel where the wire isn’t connected to the latch. just need to take the cover off n re attach it
left side of passengers foot area there was a 3inch cut made into the dash to accept iPod wires. i removed the corrado gauges and re routed wires through there thus there is a open gap that was cut out of the dash.
couple slight dings on roof smaller then a quarter.
bumper needs to be realigned and resprayed there are spider cracks and “red” paint showing through, could use a new lip too.
pass fender was replaced with original OEM classic green fender while shipping the corner that meets windshield got bent so some paint is missing (size of a quarter)
NO harmfull rust like holes n stuff towers look great (see photos) theres a bubble in on the rear hatch under the VW logo.
nothing really wrong that effects the driving.

i’m pointing out nit picky details because people have been asking about shipping the car and i wanna be on point as i **** showing up to buy a car and the fender is dented or rattle canned or just mission, theres hidden rust, no radio or whatever hidden gem the previous owner failed to leave out .
the issues with the car are minimal and frankly i could get away without even stating them cause of the fact its a 20+ yr old VW i believe with a free weekend of prep work it can all be sorted out and fixed.

i don’t want to waste your time so please don’t waste mine.
    thank you
