  • FS/FT - 1982 BMW 320i (E21)

    Hey folks,

I'm getting the itch for something new again. $5500 $5000 obo, trade of equal value, or trade with cash on top. Located in Nashville, TN.

Looking to sell my classic E21. This car gets looks and comments everywhere I go and turns heads on every corner. I'm hoping it can go to an enthusiast who will take care of it for another 30 years.

The original M10 has been well maintained throughout the years and runs stronger than ever. I have no reason to believe this car couldn't drive to California tomorrow. Five speed transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. While I've been using it as a weekend cruiser, I'm confident it could be a daily driver. Car passes emissions testing flawlessly (<15 HC's with new exhaust and cat).

The AC never worked (and is hardly ever worth repairing on these cars) and has been deleted (over 50 lbs in weight savings). There is currently no stereo. The car has minor rust in the spare wheel bay that has been properly sealed, though has not yet been repaired. Though the paint has lost a bit of shine, it looks great for a 33 year old car. The interior is mostly new, though the dash does have a few (2-3) cracks and the driver recaro has a tear in the bolster.

    NEW (within last 3 months):
Radiator/cap and fresh flush/bleed and BMW OEM coolant ($200)
    Thermostat ($40)
    Plugs/Rotor/Cap/Wires ($100)
    Catuned Coilovers ($1200)
    15x7 BBS Reps + 13x6 spare ($500)
    195/50/15 Kumho Ecsta's, <200 miles ($300)
Top End Performance 4-1 Header ($200)
New 2" exhaust (from header back with new Magnaflow cat and Dynomax muffler) ($350)
Brake pads/rotors for front and shoes for the rear + fresh flush/bleed and new fluid ($200)
Top End Performance rear strut brace and battery tray ($200)
    90A Bosch Alternator ($100)
Optima Yellow top relocated to rear ($200)
Top End Performance Cold Air Intake ($120)
    Leather shift knob ($80)
    Both roundels ($60)
    Front grille ($100)
    Turn signal lenses ($50)
    Brake light lenses/bulbs ($200)
    Black interior carpet ($200)
    Bavarian Auto plush mats ($100)

    ...and more

    Euro center console ($150)
Euro single round headlight set up ($300)
OEM BMW "IS" sport steering wheel ($100)
