  • CT: 1986 327is with Mtech1/Hartge

    NO LONGER FOR SALE, THANKS!

    1986 325es with slightly built 2.7is conversion
    158,000 on chassis.

    ENGINE:
-1986 ETA block with 885 head by BimmerHeads. Ported/Polished with 274 cam. About 2500 miles on rebuilt cylinder head.
    -Full mototronic 1.3 conversion
    -Rebuilt m50 injectors w/2500 miles
    -Rebuilt AFM w/2500 miles
    -Valve Cover/Intake painted black/red
-Sssquid 2.7i chip specifically tuned for 274 cam and m50 injectors. 93 octane.
-Pulls like a mofo especially above 4k

    EXHAUST:
-Stainless BavAuto style long tube headers. Great fit.
    -No cat
-2.5" all the way back to a magnaflow that sounds beastly.

    EXTERIOR:
    -NO RUST
-Front and rear european bumper conversion, painted to delphin gray
-RARE Hartge front apron with mtech moldings
-Mtech1 OEM rear apron, modified by filling in the ridge lines at the bottom for smooth appearance.
-Mtech1 OEM rear deck spoiler. This is a real e30 spoiler not the e28
    -Euro Smiles
    -Euro Grilles
    -Rear plate filler
-Has a small dent on drivers front fender. Has a couple small scratches nothing big. Trunk lid has orange peel.

    DRIVETRAIN:
    -3.73LSD differential
-Previous owner installed a lower mileage original equipment Getrag 260. Mounts look newer as well. Clutch feels nice.
-I installed a rebuilt drive shaft from Portland Drivelines about 3500 miles ago
-New z3 1.9 shifter installed 1000 miles ago

    SUSPENSION:
-Ground Control/Eibach coilover conversion, with Bilstein Sport inserts, rears have less than 300 miles on them. The strut tubes have not been cut but I did modify the front perches to allow for lower adjustment.
    -Newer front sway bar links.
-All else seems tight upon a recent inspection.

    WHEELS:
-ESM 002r 16x8/16x9, customized with black bolts and vintage motorsport style center caps. Center caps are fading a bit.
-Yokohama sDrive 205.45.16 tires with about 1000 miles

    INTERIOR:
    -Houndstooth Door panels.
-Passenger seat in pretty nice shape
-Driver seat has a split bolster on the outside.
-Has original ETA cluster with red needles.
-I converted the dry bottle to 134a last year and recharged the AC. It blew pretty cool but the AC button does not work. I had use a small jumper wire.
    -Momo tuner steering wheel
-OEM ///M 5 speed shift knob
-OEM Leather handbrake boot, ///M stitched shift boot
-Dash has a crack on the drivers side, and a small one just above glove box
-Newer Pioneer CD player with iPod and pandora controls. Planet Audio 5 channel amp in trunk.

Stuff that I consider needs doing:
-needs the interior fabric panel for sunroof
    -driver seat bolster repair
-Cluster. Still has the original 5k tach. Brake lining light and temp gauge can be temperamental at times. A nice rebuilt 7k unit from Bav Restoration or Guten parts would be sweet.
    -AC button
-Right front turn signal connector wire came off. Haven't had the chance to pin it back in.
-Hood could use an adjustment to fit better
-Driver door lock cylinder can be a little temperamental but still works. I have a brand new coded replacement already.

    Other notes:
I removed the washer tank and pump but still have it. I removed cruise unit and I think I still have it kicking around somewhere. Tail lights are a little faded.

I put a lot of work into this thing, especially the body kit stuff and the 2.7i conversion. We all know how much it would cost just to find a clean example to start off with, then add all the goodies.

    10k
