Hey guys, unfortunately the time has come for me to sell the car I've spent the last year and a half year building. It's a black/black e21 320is show car/daily driver. I'm selling because the unthinkable happened...I live in LA right now, and was driving across the country from Massachusetts for school/work out here. The engine started misfiring, and after receiving poor compression results, I decided to stop driving the car. It was shipped from Kansas to it's temporary spot now in the LA area, a safe location albeit. Basically, the car is not drivable, and will need the top end looked at...which, for an m10, is anywhere between $300-$600 dollars. Since I haven't had the time to open it up, I'm not sure exactly what the issue is. Luckily, m10's only fetch around $800, so a whole new motor swap wouldn't be that difficult. As for me, if I didn't need a car so badly I would swap an m20 into it.
I wanted to see what I can get for the car as is. It has ground control coilovers, 15x8/9 BBS RS's with 195/45's, 5 speed, Recaro Interior, lsd, etc. Original paint. Only major modifications were in the wheel/tire and suspension setup. Comes with stock wheels. I'd like to get $3500 for the car as is, with the wheels and everything included. If I can't get that price I'll be selling the wheels, and using that money to fund an engine rebuild, but I was wondering what I could get as is.
This is an award winning car for what it's worth, and if you were at Wolfsgart 2014 you saw this in the Alpha Class warehouse during the show. The car has also been featured on Petrolicious.com: http://www.petrolicious.com/this-bmw...-inspirational

There are a lot of pictures showing the engine, interior, exterior in my Petrolicious feature. I kept the car in top shape since some the condition hasn't changed.
The photos below were taken two days before I just for my trip (8/20/2014)...
