For Sale: 1996 Honda Prelude VTEC
Well this is a 96 Honda Prelude. It is the VTEC trim which is the top level for that generation of prelude. The car has 176k miles but it drives very nice and has lots of power. It's a 5 speed manual. Azure Blue Green Pearl is the color. The car has some quarter panel rust and some rust on the trunk. The driver seat has a chunk taken out of it. Other than the cosmetic flaws it really is a nice dependable car. The ABS does not work. It has never given me any major problems. The only maintenance I have done so far is replacing the master and slave cylinders on the clutch (because previous owner didn't replace them both at the same time and the slave had a minor leak), and I have had to get the exhaust fixed twice. Once the resonator fell off and then the downpipe got a hole in it. It's completely stock.
I have had it for over a year and half now and I am selling it because I just bought a 95 Civic Si. The car is located in Rock Island, Illinois which is right on the border of Illinois and Iowa about 3 hours west of Chicago. I am asking $3500 OBO.
