If you don't know the background on the Phaeton, I would take a look at this link:
I am listing this clean VW Phaeton for my grandpa. He purchased it in 2009 from an Ohio dealer who had bought the car from Florida. It had 37010 miles at this point. The odometer currently reads 57062. My grandpa proceeded to purchase a 3 year 36000 mile warranty which ended up being used only once for a minor repair (gas door had a latching issue). I have a folder full of the cars service records. It has a clean title with an accident free history.
The car has always been garaged during his ownership. For the last year or two, it has rarely been driven. They typically only drive it to church and on special occasions. The car is in great overall condition. The paint shines like new. There are a few small scratches (I have detailed every issue I could find - even the most minor spots), but overall it looks fantastic. I'd give it a 9/10, only a few things need touched up for it to be perfect.
This is the most amazing car I have ever driven. It rides like a dream. You almost have to keep an eye on your speed. You can easily find yourself pushing 90, but it will feel like 40. The whole package is simply incredible. There are too many small details and amenities to even list. I really encourage any interested buyers to read up on the history and all the available options of the Phaeton (it shares platforms with the Bentley Continental, it is hand assembled, factory air suspension, it was the choice car of Pope Benedict, etc.) The number of small luxury items is mind blowing. Not to mention the immense amount of space within the car itself. I'm 6'5 and still have a lot of legroom when sitting in the back seat. Shaq would find the rear seats of this car comfortable.
Considering the condition and overall care provided to the car, he is looking for $17,000 OBO. All fair offers considered.
I am hoping to see someone give this car the VIP treatment it deserves. I've yet to see one done right. I have lusted after it ever since first getting behind the wheel, however being a college student doesn't pay (quite the opposite actually). Now, its being offered up to the Stanceworks community and I'm hoping it will go to someone who will build it into something worth talking about. I want to see this beast laying frame. If you think you're up to it or if you have any questions, feel free to shoot me a PM. Thanks guys.

The interior color looks somewhat flat and dull in the pictures for some reason. It looks much better in person. The wood also looks a lot different in person, it isn't so bright and washed out looking. It has much more detail than shown. The true color is difficult to capture. I had difficulty taking interior pictures in general since it was too dark in the garage but too bright with the flash.

And one with the 36.
