  • 1985 BMW euro e24 For Sale

I unfortunately will be selling my sixer due to me moving to NYC to start a job their after graduating college. I don't want to but I don't want it to rot at home and I definitely won't be needing a car in Manhattan. I've been active on this forum in the past, but since freshman year haven't had too much time unfortunately.

I've taken good care of her since I picked her up in 2008 from an unsuspecting owner with around 175k, now up to 201k and here's what I've done off the top of my head since. I have an excel sheet with everything for those who are seriously interested. Also, I do not want to sell this car immediately, but sometime in June. I will be as flexible as possible however.

Another quick summary, it is an Bronzitbeige 1985 (April) euro e24 5 speed lowered with BavAuto springs (before my time) and Bilstein sport struts/shocks (I did this) with a Nutria brown interior (buffalo leather seats, that have been replaced).

    Interior:
-I got new seats last year to replace my nutria brown buffalo leather ones that were quite worn.
    -The dash is cracked
-Some minor tears in the headliner
-A small stain in the carper behind the passenger front seat
-It has a new sound system, with new speakers all around, new deck, sub and amp. I love my country music with some good bass
-the A/C doesn't work. It worked for a couple years, then stopped. could be out of RC-12, not sure though.
-For some reason, behind each rear seat, the metal was cut

    Exterior:
-The paint is seriously faded on the top of the roof, hood, and trunk.
-Rather straight body, with only a couple very small dents.
-No exterior rust. The only rust I have found was under the trunk carpet due to a leak in the rear lights that I fixed, and under the rear seats.
-Style 5 BBS that are straight with very little rash and good tires
-The euro style headlight wiper/washer system. The wipers work, but the washers need the dual pump tank.

    Engine:
-This car runs and drives extremely well.
-It is unfortunately not the euro 218 bhp engine, but the catalyzed 185 bhp US engine. The plus is it has passed smog/DEQ every time
-The car has been chipped and upgraded with the Miller MAF system
-The engine uses a little oil

    Mechanics:
    -New driveshaft and associated parts
-The steering is good. It's not incredibly tight, but its rather true for a 29 year old car. I haven't done anything to the steering components, besides the steering box fix http://forum.roadfly.com/threads/121...voted-the-best
Before I did this the car pulled a little left, and afterwards it was pretty much straight.
-Replaced the entire front suspension several years ago
    -Front strut bar
    -Brakes are solid
-Replaced the entire hydraulic clutch system (slave/master with lines)
-New radiator with upper and lower hoses in March

Right now my price is around $4000 (you get all my useful spare parts you want)

What I listed was the major things I can think of off the top of my head. I've done things like new starter, new plugs, new cap/rotor, but I think people that are seriously interested can email me at bradpitch92@gmail.com and I can give them a complete breakdown. If still serious we should talk and I can give you a rundown of literally everything. I want to be as honest as possible so no surprises happen.

This is my first post here, I have been active on other BMW boards but just found out about this today and trying to broaden my audience. Here are just a few pics, and here's a link to the whole album on dropbox.
