Up for sale is my 242 turbo. She's a project but running strong and I DD her when ever I'm back from college.
Reason I'm selling is actually because I'm interested in a different Volvo project.
Really open to trades for RWD Volvo or old School Japanese car: 240z, 510, cressida, etc.
Tons of mods done by both the PO and myself including:
Welded diff
M46 4 speed manual with electronic overdrive
B21ft 2.1L turbo (15g bigger turbo off the 850r)
manual boost controller set to 10 psi
rolled/pulled fenders
16x7 et 0 and 16x8 et-10 widened steelies
3" exhaust with cat and muffler (car passes smog no problem and just passed in April)
electric cooling fan
intercooler off a 7/900 series
90+ ex. manifold which flows better than the pre 90 manifolds
passenger/driver Recaro Pole position seats w/ red 4pt. harnesses
bolt in half cage
grip royal steering wheel
12" sub and ipod connectivity
poly bushings recently installed in rear trailing arms
RSI front coilovers: Bilstein HD short struts, 8" 300# spring, adjuster sleeve with ~4" of adjustability, cut IPD sport springs in rear with new Bilstein HDs
upgraded 700 series turbo fuel pump
brakes just bled after coils were installed
Some bads:
paint isn't perfect- car is 30+ years old
some surface rust on lower drivers door
no A/C (wasn't an option)
no rear seats
If you add everything up 6k is a pretty fair price but I know I won't make back everything I spent, that being said I'll take reasonable offers but please don't waste my/your time.
