Mechanically, no I don't believe the car would have any issues in a perfect scenario but I wouldn't want to do it for a couple of reasons. 1. The drive from Texas to California is brutal on ANY car, let a lone one that is 26 years old. 2. Things break all the time on cars, new or old is indiferent but more times than not Auto Zone doesn't make a habit of carrying in stock parts for a 26 year old European car. But that's just me & my wisdom speaking I guess...
