I have a 98 v70R AWD that I just completed a full RN conversion in.
The car has 145k, a new Volvo driveshaft, newer brakes, newer tires, and various other maintenance.
The engine swap was done by a good friend of mine who has done several of these swaps. The VVT was eliminated and car runs as if it came like this from the factory. When he was doing the swap he changed all the cam and crank seals, the oil trap and hoses, timing belt, tensioners, roller, water pump, tstat, serpentine belt, tensioner, and all of the fluids. The car is about as reliable as you can get.
I bought the car with a bad engine and did the swap because I planned to do a s60R turbo, injectors, and a tune. This swap isn't that easy and requires quite a bit of modification but the result is a quicker car with stronger internals. Ist a great candidate for a reliable 300hp car with minor mods.
I am getting the car detailed this week and will have some pictures later in the week. I'm selling because I don't have time for another project right now. Looking to get $4500 for it.
