  • 93 Lexus SC400

Hey gang I want to sell my SC400. I traded my AE86 to a con artist scumbag kid from Atlanta that neglected to tell me it has a rebuilt title. It was repaired and I don't know where it was crashed so good on whoever fixed it in 2008. I know there are a lot of S|W members in Atlanta amd you may recognize this car. And you'll probably know the louse that had it before me. He is a shit. That's all I can say.

So anyway, I want to sell or trade it for some thing with 4 doors and a manual transmission. I have a 2 year old son (Dude) who loves cars but I wasn't about to stick him in my AE86 so I traded it for this SC400. Well Dude is a fighter and doesn't like getting crammed in the backseat. So me n Dude need something with 4 doors so he can ride easy when daddy rides dirty.

When I got the car, it was a pile of crap. Brakes did not work, rear suspension had no springs installed, had a lawn mower battery under the hood, janky ass red plastic loom every where, cheaply stereo wires hanging everywhere, dirty, trunk full of garbage, no trim pieces in the trunk, gauge needles burned out, trans chunks when shifting from park to drive or reverse, HVAC display slightly faded, no badges on the trunk lid so water gets in, third brake light is missing, tailights hacked and blows STOP fuse so car won't go into gear....I think that's all.

So these things I have fixed so far:
Brand new Parts Shop Max coilovers all around
Brand new ceramic brake pads, hardware all around, needed a caliper bracket and some guide pins - all done now
Brand new Interstate giant freakin battery

I am working on fixing the tailights today, and i have a set of badges to fix the water leaks, plus I have new LEDs and resistors to fix the gauge needles. I have ordered an LED brake light i'll put in when it gets here. The transmission clunk is most likely the trans mount or one of the 2 drive shaft guibos.

The car runs and drives spectacularly now. Starts right up, idles smooth, transmission shifts smooth, no weird noises or rattles, steering is nice and all the fancy electrics work just fine. Probably the most important is the car STOPS on a dime now.

The modifications it has are tasteful I reckon. It has an Injen intake, OBX single exhaust, HIDs in high beams and low beams, wheels are by Volk they are 19x8/8.5" +30 OEM wheels from a G35 and a Pioneer double DIN touch screen jump off.
