This is a rust free 240d. Zero rust. None. Zip. Its never seen salt. I recently purchased this Arizona car as a second car for my family. My wife doesnt like the car and wants to get something else. It does run very well, though it did not run when I got it. The injection pump was sucking air from a failing priming pump. It has low miles, around 88k miles but did sit for quite some time before I purchased it. The odometer worked when I got it, but is intermittent so it might be a bit higher, but the cleanliness of the car, and the minty interior leaves me to believe its fairly accurate. This is a very very clean car. Baby blue, with dark blue interior.

here is what I've done to the car since I got it. I used quality parts as I had assumed I was going to keep the car.

    new injectors
    repaired glow plug circuit
new tires (kellys, not some crappy tire)
new pads and rotor front and rear. ATE and pb metal master. good stuff.
    new engine mounts
    new drivers door seal
    new priming pump
    new air filter
    new alternator
    new oil change
    new bosch wipers
    new valve cover gasket
    valve adjustment
new fuel filters including the filter in the tank
    new windshield
    new plates/tabs

I have receipts to support all purchases if needed. I would drive this car anywhere. Here is a video of it idling.

The car drives very very nice. it isn't going to win any drag races but it does hum along nicely at 70 or so. faster if you have the patience. The only issue with the car is it does need some PDR in 3-4 locations and the drivers side tie rod could stand to be replaced. There is no spare. As far as I am aware with my short ownership the car needs nothing else.

    3900 or offer.

If you plop in on eBay, and take picture hints from Mercedes Motoring you'll get higher then you're asking.

BTW didn't see it listed, 4 speed or auto?
