I acquired this car in a two for one deal to help a friend out. I don't have the time for a project this extensive so it is for sale.
The car has a Maryland Title signed by the previous owner and ready to transfer. I have purchased many MD cars and as long as they come with a signed title as this car does I've never had an issue.
1981 BMW 320I (e21)
5 speed
Black interior
Odometer reads 254,xxx
4cylinder M-10 engine
This car is rusty. The trunk has large holes, drivers side floor (or lack thereof) has extensive rust as well as the front drivers frame rail. Passenger side floor has extensive rust as well.
The car starts right up with a borrowed battery, runs a bit rough until it warms up.
The shift linkage is broken, the car is in neutral but will not go into any gears right now.
Interior is in good shape overall with the drivers seat being a bit rough and the dash having typical cracks. The steering wheel is a three spoke sport model wheel.
The exterior looks great although there are a few areas where surface rust has formed underneath the paint.
The wheels are clearly awful, they will need tires should you choose to keep them. (I can include a set of 13" VW steel wheels)
There is no radio.
I have a few parts that can be purchased separately, IS front valance, front strut brace, dash mat, Bav Auto plug wires, OEM sunroof deflector...
I am open to trades. Please keep it to cars, trucks, atvs please..
Price can be discussed in person. I understand that this is a project however I do have the means and space to part it out so I will do that to recoup my investment if need be.
Delivery within a few hundred miles of PA 17517 is available is the asking price is paid and buyer covers my travel expenses.
