I bought this car with the intention of keeping it for a long term project and I will keep it if need be but some things have inconveniently come up in my personal life that made it not a great time for yet another car.
I picked it up two weeks ago and haven't even registered it yet. It came from one owner in Westchester. The interior is very clean with no cracks anywhere in the leather, the headliner is clean, and every single feature works. The wood has cracks but everything else is pretty mint.
The exterior has some dings and dents but overall its clean and has original unmolested paint. No bondo or accidents which is what I was looking for since I intend on spraying the car anyway. The front passenger fender, trunk lid, and antenna have slight rust spots but the rockers are perfect as well as the doors.
Mechanically the car is mint. I just had the tensioners, pulleys, belts, and oil changed as well as replaced all the filters and battery and an alignment. The transmission shifts smooth and doesn't leak. I was told it was replaced and that's pretty evident when you drive the car. It idles as quite as smooth as my 08 750i.
For those of you who know Benz you know this is a 2 year car that is hard to come by. I found this one and the next one up was $7500. This is priced to sell. If I keep it and do what I want this price will not be anywhere near what it is now. Its located in Ridgewood, NY at a friends shop and can be seen anytime during the week before 7 and Saturday by appointment. NO JOY RIDERS, NO TRADES, and please NO BULL SHIT.
