Looking to sell my 95 Mazda Miata 1.8L. Located in South Shore, Massachusetts. Clean title.
I've lost all interest in the scene. It happens.
The car has 142,XXX miles and counting. I drive 2 miles back and forth to work everyday and not much more. Runs strong as can be. Clean Title.
The interior is a 8/10 I would say. little stress cracks on the seats, but nothing more. no rips anywhere or cracks on the dash etc. Just normal wear. I did remove some padding from the butt of the seat for more headroom, but it feels completely natural.
The car was sprayed Porsche "Grey Black" (paint code 7A1) back in May of 2012 and is still at a 8/10 I would say. a buff couldnt hurt, but thats just me being me.
Pros: UPDATED
-15x10 work equip 03's ET -3 front and -6 rear. 10/10 condition. Straight from Work wheels for this car. 195/45/15 Nexen n300's in the front 70% tread left and nfera su1 in the rear with 95% tread left.
-Megan EZ-Street coils. also bought brand new mid 2012. all spin fine.
-Fiberglass hardtop color matched.(refer to bottom of page)
-cross drilled and slotted rotors front and rear. Unsure of brand, but they're in great shape.
-Enthuza "racer" with resonator deleted and catless test pipe added. screams and pops, but isnt too much.
-Hard dog sport single diagonal roll bar also color matched to the exterior paint.
-Energy Suspension differential mounts installed a few months back with powder coated top hats.
-The car has a mazdaspeed motor mount pass. side and a stock mount drivers side. I have an OEM mazda Competition mount (a bit stiffer than mazdaspeed) in the plastic I will include also if I get what I want)
-R lips front and back that were also sprayed with the car.
-Ebay? intake that was on the car when I bought it. sounds pretty cool.
-DEPO smoked turns and bumper signals. rear bumper signals color matched.
-I have stock suspension, radio, soft top, charcoal canister, cruise etc that will be included.
-stock NB miata wheels with crappy tires also going with the car.
-Motor mount mounting holes have been slotted and the motor has been spaced up about 3/4 of an inch and has never hit the ground, ever.
-New OEM clutch installed in May. rear main seal was replaced during install.
-New belts all around.
-New window/door sill mouldings. no more rusty cracked brittle looking junk.
Cons: UPDATED
-The Hardtop wasnt clipped in all the way and came off the car while doing 35 mph. the glass is not broken but there are multiples cracks in the fiberglass and the its going to need paint of course. if you're handy, it will be a weekend project and a trip to the body shop to get it back looking mint again. this is the main reason i'm dropping the price so low.
-The valve cover needs to be replaced. Its a bit warped I just figured out.
-The speedometer cable gave out a few miles back. the odometer stopped working as a result. I'm going to try and drive the car as little as I can until the sale of the car.
-There is a small area of surface rust near the rear driver side quarter that came through during the winter. Isn't terrible. I can send photos of course.
-leather is almost worn through on the top of the steering wheel from dewy mornings etc when the leather gets real soft.
I'm asking $4500 FIRM (NO LESS THAN $4500) AS IS
NO TRADES AT ALL. NO I WILL NOT PART THE WHEELS OR TOP.
I have well over 10k invested, and am willing to take the loss for a quick sale.
