  • 1968 Mercedes Benz 250SE

Hello gents, I'm selling my 68 Mercedes 250SE. It has a 2.8 liter, fuel injected, inline six that runs perfectly. I dont know the mileage on it but I've owened it for three years, and have put on about 5,000 miles. The interior of this Benz is definitely "rat" status. It's stripped except for all the seats. I have been prepping it for restoration but doing an absolutely dumb job of it because of time constraints. It can be driven the way it is, and still gets a lot of compliments wherever it goes. The springs were cut before I bought it, my plans were to put it on air. It has stock wheels, with 195/75/14 thin white stripe tires that are soon going to have to be replaced.

The car is located in Spokane, Washington. I'm asking 1800, but I'm willing to take ANY offers no matter how low because I love this car and want it to go to someone who can actually do something with it.

Thanks for looking, any comments or questions are welcome here or at superdupere60@gmail.comm.

    Video of the Benz:
*HD PLEASE* Brett and I had the opportunity to shoot this amazing classic car today. The weather didn't quite work in our favor but it added to the feel…

Interested. Could you post shots of the Interior? Also, do you think this would make the drive down to California? Does it need any engine work?

if you were in Colorado id probably make an offer. But how can you breath without the emblem on the front! it makes the car for like 50 bucks.

I'm not on here nearly enough. Excuse the reply taking so long. It doesn't need engine work, it's the best part of the car. Depending upon where in Cali I would but I don't know if it would be worth the added expense to you.

Haha I don't breath much. There's so many things that SHOULD be done to this car that I'm not able to do simply because I keep having to put it lower on my priority list. It was missing when I got it though, so I just ground down what was left of the stem, then filed small facets into it.

Also I'll post pics of the interior soon as I can.

                    Interior

Alrighty, here are the interior photos. I stripped the whole interior about a year ago to get to all the issues and to do a conversion to black seats, carpet, etc. THIS is why I consider the car at rat status right now. And if you can see behind the driver seat there's some plywood, that's because that area needs a part of the floor pan fabricated.

I'm willing to ship it yes. I have some contacts that can do that but I need to shop around for prices. I'm also willing to give a discount on the car to make it worth your while to ship it.
