  • FS: 1984 633CSi 5-Speed Red/Tan

    Sold.

Well, I really thought I was going to keep this car and do a Euro conversion, but I found an actual grey-market car for a price I couldn't pass up. So I'm selling the 633CSi to help fund the restoration. I have only owned the car for about a month, but I have put about 4000 miles on it in that time. The only issue I ever had was the crank position sensor going out, and I replaced it along with the reference sensor. Everything has been perfect since then. I just drove a 900-mile round trip to San Francisco and back and the car cruised brilliantly for the entire trip, all while returning a GPS-verified 26 MPG. The car's original color is Burgundrot, and it has been repainted in a color close to Hennarot. The paint itself is good but the masking job was not. There are a few spots of painted trim (rear bumper surrounds, sunroof seal, washer jets). Otherwise it looks great. It has a generic cone filter installed at the moment, but I do have the original airbox and air filter, they will be included with the car.

Haha I found the one I am keeping. It probably won't be done for a year or so but it will blow minds.

Maybe so. Not as much as your e38 got me though. You are the damn reason I got an e38. oh and dophineh. Your 7 series was the first lowered one I ever saw. It was enough to make my decision on my e38 over a Lexus ls400 I was looking at.
