  • F/S: Very clean 1997 M3 Dakar 5-spd Manual - Only 86K miles (SoCal)

It's time to sell my garage queen, a 1997 Dakar Yellow BMW M3 5-spd
I'M NOT PARTING THE CAR SO PLEASE DON'T ASK. However, if I can't sell the car
within a month, then I'll consider parting out the aftermarket parts.

This car has never been into an accident. Paint is still outstanding, people who
has seen my car can vouch for me. Car is a garage queen so it's parked in my garage
and is driven 3-5 times a month for an average of 3K miles a year. I'm the 4th owner
but more like the 3rd owner. The second owner bought the car for his brother and when
they transferred the title, DMV considered it a new owner but it was always driven the brother.
California car and always stayed in LA/OC area.

    Car Info:
    • Located in Tustin, CA
    • 1997 OBD2 M3 5-spd manual
    • Current Mileage: 86,055 and oil change every 3K miles
    • Exterior: Dakar Yellow, Original Paint (9/10)
    • Interior: Schwarz Vader Interior (8/10)
    • Cleared Title, Smogged till July of 2014, Runs strong
    • No Leaks whatsoever, AC runs cold, Heater works as well.
    • Entire coolant system was overhauled at 82, 223 miles (EMP Stewart High Performance Water Pump, Wahler Thermostat 80 degree, Aluminum Thermostat Housing, Gen BMW Anti Freeze, new top/bottom hose, OEM reservoir, S54 Radiator)
    • Oil changed on 7/21/13 with OEM Filter and Castro synthetic oil w10-60 from Crevier BMW - 86,055

    Exterior Mods:
    • ACS Style Roof Spoiler
    • e46 trunk lip
    • Smoked corner lights
    • Smoke side lights

    Suspension:
    • Bilstein PSS9 Coilovers (Less than 5K miles) Still rides smooth, no leaks.
    • Car was balanced 50/50 and Alignment was done at West End on Jan. 2, 2012 with 82,334 odometer
    • Dinan Strut Bar
    • UUC Adjustable Rear Control Arm

    Wheels:
    • ACS Type 1 (purchased brand new from Clause over in Germany on May 4th, 2012)
    • Front: 17x8.5 ET13 wrapped on Falken FK 452 215/40/17 (less than 3.5K miles on wheels and tires)
    • Rear: 17x10 ET33 wrapped on Falken FK 452 245/35/17 (less than 3.5K miles on wheels and tires)
    • 3 of 4 wheels are flawless, only the passenger rear wheel has some curb rash but this can easily be fixed by a good wheel shop.

    Performance:
    Dinan Carbon Fiber HFI
    Dinan Stainless Steel Exhaust
Short shifter (not sure what brand, installed by previous owner)

    Misc upgrades:
    • HID headlights (installed by previous owner)
    • Shift knob (believe it's from an e46, unsure)
    • Kenwood CD Player

    Issues:
    • Headliner is sagging, should be an easy fix for a upholstery professional at little cost
    • Door ding on passenger side but can easily be fix by paintless removal
    • Small ding on driver side rear fender, this came with the car when I purchased this from the previous owner.

    SOLD!!!!
