I have for sale a prime example of classic german engineering. This is a 1973 Mercedes Benz 220 (chassis number w115). It is gas and automatic. I am 2nd owner and the car has less than 100k miles. The odometer just stopped working at 86k miles and has not been driven much since then.
This car is ready to be driven. I have all the original owners manual, maintenance booklet, and manuals that came with the car in 1973. I also have a stack of receipts of everything that has been done to this car recently. Almost every gasket, accessory and bushing has been changed. The list is pretty extensive and all records will be included in sale.
here is a list of some of maint done recently:
-Cyl Head Gasket
-Timing Chain
-Thermostat
-power steering pump seals
-fuel pump gasket
-new webber carb (less than 500 miles on it)
-oil pan gasket
-ignitiion rotor, points, distributer cap
-transmission mounts
-radiator hoses
-brand new hella headlights with 6000k HID kit
-fuel tank sender and seal
-coolant flush
-water pump
-brake hoses
-brake rotors
-brake pads
-new mirror glass
-brand new radio with aux, USB, and SD reader
The car runs and drives great and starts up first time every time. The body is very straight. The biggest dent is on the roof but could get pulled if went to a shop. Along the trim there is some surface rust but nothing too bad. Under the car there is barely any rust if any. there are absolutely no leaks.
The car was also lowered in the front and back to give it a little better handling and a more aggressive stance.
The only thing this car needs is rear passenger seat floor mats and the hood star emblem.
Dont miss out on this great example of a fine german automobile. They just don't make them like this anymore.
